TAILGATE COOK-OFF &
EQUIPMENT SHOWCASE

Every year the Industry of Faith - Louisiana puts on our annual Job Fair & Tailgate Cook-Off.

 

This is our core event which was started as a directive from the Lord to help those in need, to be able to find a way to provide for themselves and their families while gaining encouragement from fellow believers.

JOB FAIR:

Our Job Fair will be held inside the outdoor covered RPCC Welding Lab and each vendor will be given a table along with a 10’x5’ booth and two chairs. Vendors are to supply any applications, pens, giveaways they choose. Vendors can bring in any typical trade show booth set up they have.

Job Fair Vendors will have their logo published in all promotional items and social media posts as a Job Fair Vendor.

 

There are XX booth spots available for the 2022 event.

 

If you would like to lock in your spot, we ask if you could provide a donation that goes towards sponsoring one family for our Thanksgiving Meal Drive. ($150)

-Vendors who donate will have their logo published in all promotional items and social media posts as an official event and family sponsor.

-You will be contacted by the IOFLA asking for the types of specific positions you are looking for or could be hiring for in the future.

 

Please be sure to turn in your positions by October 1st.

TAILGATE COOK-OFF:

We introduced our Tailgate Cook-Off a couple years ago and it has been a huge success. Cooks in the Oil & Gas Industry come from all over to take a part in this event with a champion being crowned each year for the best food.

 

This year we have made some new rules to make it better for everyone. Judging will be on a points scale.

 

If you would like to lock in your spot, we ask if you could provide a donation that goes towards sponsoring one family for our Thanksgiving Meal Drive. ($150)

-Vendors who donate will have their logo published in all promotional items and social media posts as an official event and family sponsor.

-You will be contacted by the IOFLA asking for what you intend on cooking in the categories you sign up for.

 

Please be sure to turn in your selections by October 1st.

 

If your company thinks they have the best cooks around than this is the event for you!

CATAGORIES:

Our 2021 Tailgate Cook-Off introduced different food categories, Chicken, Jambalaya and The Speciality Tailgate Category. Contestants were judged and this year we will be continuing that new tradition.

 

Check back as our categories for 2022 will be announced soon!

EQUIPMENT SHOWCASE:

The Equipment Showcase will be held in the parking lot area outside of the RPCC Technical Training College. Vendors are to supply whatever equipment they choose to showcase to the attendees. We strongly encourage you invite your clients to come out to see your equipment and partake in the Tailgate Cook-Off Networking Event.

 

Vendors will be spaced accordingly and will have room for a vendor provided tent or station. Feel free to bring in any typical trade show booth set up you have.

 

Equipment Showcase Vendors will have their logo published in all promotional items and social media posts as an Equipment Showcase Vendor.

 

There are XX Equipment Showcase spots available.

We will need the following:

-Equipment type

-Equipment size (footprint)

-Duration of time it will take to set up

-Any safety plan you may have for the equipment
